I'm tired today, I don't feel like writing much. Leo made Annie cry in their class, he didn't say anything that bad but she got really upset. I ended up staying behind for 45 minutes to help Candy, Betty and Mandy with the speech contest. They have so little time to prepare, it's ridiculous to be honest.

I just fancy beer and wrestling now lol.

May 30th

Managed to get to bed a bit earlier last night, later than I wanted but still dark at least. Watched a bunch more Kitchen Nightmares. It's kinda weird how I do that, never watch a show for years then watch it all back to back.

Decent enough day at work, kinda stressed about Benjamin though. Basically, I drew a picture of him for the boxing game, he didn't say anything about not wanting it to be him, then five minutes later he burst into tears about it. It's always either him or Vanessa causing problems, if one is happy the other is upset, and they're both so tempramental anything can set them off. I guess their mom will be calling again, even though as soon as I knew he didn't like it I changed it and he didn't say anything up until then.

Decent enough day apart from that though, trying to remember some more names of the daycare kids - I need to remember Ivy, Mary, Jason, Jeff, and Jasmine this time next week. Impossible, lol.

Cherry's class went well, didn't get stroppy again so that's good. We're back up in the attic classroom, and the aircon was broken so it was just blowing warm air out. We ended up sitting on the balcony where it was nice and cool. It still seems weird for buildings to be hotter inside than outside. Anny was the same as ever, it's like herding a cat with her sometimes. I'm tempted just to give up and just mess around for an hour.

I have the recent UFC on my computer, but I kinda want to watch it when Linda isn't there so I can relax and not get interrupted when I watch it. Kinda tempted to get a hotel room and hook my PS3 up to the TV and use a USB to watch it. Sounds kinda silly, but I reckon it's the only way I'll get any peace and quiet.

May 29th

Kind of a wasted evening. I watched Raw, but fast forwarded most of it. Shield/Hell No had an awesome match, Punk's comeback was announced, aside from that nothing interested me. Ended up staying up late watching Kitchen Nightmares which I regret. I need to be more strict with myself about bedtime haha.

Work went okay. I had Claire's class first, she's really annoying sometimes. She complained because I went to the classroom five or ten minutes early (so I can wait there instead of the non-air-conditioned office), then keept me waiting for fifteen minutes after the proper start time while they did a test.  Who complains about someone being early when they themselves are running late, ffs? And then she did the usual handing out books and talking to the students while I'm trying to teach. Luckily I like the students in that class so it's pretty easy to ignore all that stuff.

Then I had the new GEPT class for the second time, Winnie is still being the class clown and John seems to want to have a go too. The girls seem more friendly/less bitchy though, maybe they just didn't like Rachel and I ended up getting them in a bad mood constantly haha.

In Rachel's class, Rose broke Jenny's ruler so I tried to get a new one out of the prize cupboard, but they didn't have any so the Chinese teacher said Rose had to buy a new one from a shop...not what I wanted but my Chinese isn't good enough to explain. I think Rose is angry at me now. Speaking of angry kids, Mini is still not speaking to me because I scared her like a month ago. That kid holds a grudge like nobody I've ever met.

After classes I helped Mina with the speech competition stuff, she kept messing around and laughing though. Vivian came for the last 20 minutes, which meant moee messing around and laughing. Lion was supposed to come but didn't.

No plans for tonight other than trying to get to bed at a decent hour. I wouldn't be surprised if Kitchen Nightmares didn't feature heavily also.

May 28th

Spent all night watching Kitchen Nightmares again haha.

Still trying to get everything sorted for England. We're going in less than 3 months and we still have no airplane or hotel or anything. Going with Linda was probably a mistake, this should have been sorted out months ago but we've been waiting around for her friend the travel agent, and now she won't buy the tickets yet because she's still paying off the Japan trip.

There's a family barbeque on the 4th of August, so I should get to see everyone while I'm there.  Should be a good opportunity to take some pictures, I don't have any decent photos of any of the family. I'm such a snob now when it comes to photos, and my best aren't even that good. Some of the shit that gets posted on Facebook, lol.

Work went okay.  One kid in Melissa's class, Jason, kept sticking his hands up the bottom of his shorts, had to send him out twice to wash his hands. Weird kid. Candy got her results back from the big quiz in Taichung, 99%. I tried to talk her into going for the speech competition, I think her and Mandy Yeah and Betty are gonna go for it. Kenny was acting up again, constantly being a goofball and trying to be the class clown, and going to sleep when he doesn't get any attention. I stayed behind after my time finished and told Rachel, spent like 10 minutes telling him off. He accused me of favouritism towards the girls, I said thet's because I tell them to be quiet once and they do it, but him and Leo always mess around so I have to tell them several times. Besides, I never have to tell Nick off either, the whole class is really good apart from those two (who are decent enough when they take the class seriously).

Tonight is Tuesday which means wrestling, but without Punk I'm only watching for The Shield, Bryan and Cesaro. Shield are feuding Hell No and Cesaro is off TV atm (helping Generico/Zayne establish himself on NXT I think) so there's only two feuds I care about, so roughly 30 - 40 minutes max of a 3 hour show. I'll play games in another window I guess.

May 27th

Not a bad day at work. Pretty easy really, two daycare classes followed by three easy classes, then helping random kids memorise and read.

No plans for tonight, I'll probably watch the UFC from Saturday if I can find it somewhere online that hasn't been taken down yet, and try to get an early night.

Kind of a wasted weekend. Linda was working and I wasn't in the mood to do anything by myself so I just ended up watching Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares for two days on Youtube.  Pretty interesting show actually, how there are all these failing businesses because people don't really know what they're doing, and instead of trying something different or going to school or whatever they just keep doing the same shit until they go bankrupt. Their businesses are perfectly capable of making a profit, but they keep taking losses because their egos won't let them admit a mistake and make changes. It kind of makes me think about my own life, in a way. Maybe instead of watching Kitchen Nightmares, I should look harder for something to do next weekend.

But yeah that is literally all I did for two days.

I've finished work already, but I can't leave for over an hour so I'm just sitting in the office with nothing to do.

I ended up watching wrestling all night, Impact and Raw. All pretty boring except The Shield vs Kane, Daniel Bryan and Kofi. I think Bryan might be getting groomed to win Money in the Bank.., but either way all six guys had a great match.

I'm trying to remember all of my daycare kids' names. I only see them for 20 minutes a week so I keep forgetting. Slowly getting there though.

Linda's getting back from Japan tonight. Kinda wish she was staying longer, I was working pretty much the whole time she was gone so I didn't even get a day to myself. I'm so sick of sharing an apartment, can't wait to move out.

No real plans for the weekend, Linda's working so I'll be by myself and the weather will probably be too shitty to go out. I'll figure something out, but it'll probably be a boring one.

Work was ok today. I had the two daycare classes.  The first one a girl tripped over a chair and started crying, then a boy tried to hide my coffee and started crying when I called him meilimao. Everything else was basically normal, Cherry didn't get too stroppy which is good, Anny did her usual strange noises and faces and pretending to be the teacher. Thursdays are easy, everyone just wants to play.

Nothing interesting planned for tonight, I need to download Raw and Impact because they're only on Dailymotion which is shite. Also there should be a new episode of the Apprentice, I love sneering at clueless middle class people so I'm looking forward to that.

Didn't get up to much last night. Sorted out some photos in Picasa - the face recognition stuff was lost when I reinstalled Windows so I had to redo that - while I had Extreme Rules open in another window. Kind of a boring PPV to be honest. I'm not even sure who won the title match, it was pretty confusing.

Also in the news, a soldier was beheaded in the street in London by a couple of muslims. Brits on the internet are going predictably apeshit. It doesn't take much to make the undercurrent of racism and xenophobia in British culture raise its ugly head.

On the train to work now, managed to get a seat on the fast train for once.

The blogger app is really crashy today. I've lost this update 3 times, so I've resorted to downloading a word processor to type in and copy and paste from. Stupid apps.

I haven't written much lately because I haven't really done anything interesting. I'm planning a trip back to England in the summer so I'm saving money for that, plus it's still rainy season, so I've just been working and doing indoors stuff on the computer.

But whatever. The point is, I'm supposed to write every day anyway because my memory is terrible.

School went pretty well today. My two junior high classes were combined into one, with a different teacher I've never met before (Monica) that nobody bothered to tell me about, and nobody told them there was going to be a foreign teacher so there was a bit of confusion when I got there. Everything else was pretty normal, except after class I was helping Vanessa memorise a dialogue  She started picking her ear and poking me with the same finger, and when I told her off she got upset and ran out of the office in a strop. She's the type to get her mum involved so I shall probably have more to say on the subject tomorrow. Kids, lol.

I'm on the train home now. I want to watch some wrestling later, I have Raw, Impact and the Extreme Rules PPV to watch. I'm not really in the mood for wrestling, but I don't want to get behind either. I kinda just want to watch Louis Theroux documantaries all night. Again.
